GY70 and GY83 is special carbide grade designed for the machining of cast iron in CTRI. This grade is very suitable for dry cutting, and excellent performance is shown in rough and finish machining of crankshaft, cylinder block and cylinder head, camshaft, connecting rod. Compared to traditional grade of K05K15, it shows high machining efficiency and higher stability.
New grade GY70 and GY83 demonstrate closer combination with the Al2O3 composite CVD coating. The micro processing technology and special processing technology make more smooth surface and very strong chemical stability, reduce the friction on the surface of iron tools, thus greatly improve the tool life performance.
